Terms of Service
Effective Date: October 24, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the getlaunch.dev platform ("Service"), operated by getlaunch.dev ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, signing in, deploying a project, using AI features, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must authenticate via GitHub OAuth or Google OAuth. By signing in, you authorize us to access your profile information (username, email address, and avatar) and, for GitHub accounts, the repositories you grant access to through the GitHub App installation.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account or allow unauthorized access. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.
2. Service Description
getlaunch.dev is an AI-assisted web product and deployment platform. The Service includes:
- AI Workspace — an AI-assisted environment for planning, generating, previewing, editing, and deploying interactive web products
- Web apps — fullstack apps published from AI Workspace, hosted pay as you go and paid for with AI credits
- Static Sites — hosting and deployment for primarily informational websites
- Container deployments — Docker containers built from a repository or a pre-built image, available only to accounts we enable them for
- Developer tools — GitHub integrations, API keys, OAuth apps, MCP-compatible automation, logs, storage, custom domains, and billing controls
All deployments run on a stateless architecture. This means:
- Apps and containers have no persistent local storage. Any data written to their filesystem is lost upon restart, redeployment, or scaling events.
- You are solely responsible for using external services (managed databases, cloud storage, etc.) for any data that must persist.
- We do not guarantee the preservation of any data stored within apps or containers.
The Service uses analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand usage patterns and improve the platform, and advertising pixels (Meta and TikTok) to measure our ads. They are on by default and you can turn them off from the cookie notice. For details on what data is collected and how to opt out, see our Privacy Policy.
2.1 AI Features and Generated Content
AI Workspace and related AI features create code, website content, plans, and other outputs based on your inputs. Please note:
- AI Accuracy — AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before publishing.
- Ownership — To the extent permitted by applicable law and third-party provider terms, you own your inputs and outputs. We do not claim ownership over your code, applications, or generated website content.
- Responsibility — You are responsible for ensuring generated content, code, domains, images, text, data, and deployed applications do not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable laws.
- AI credits and quotas — AI features may require AI credits or be subject to quotas, rate limits, expiration periods, or feature limits described on our Pricing page, in the dashboard, or at checkout.
2.2 Templates
You can start a workspace from a template: an example web app we provide. Using one creates your own copy of its code in a new workspace. Before you use a template, you acknowledge that:
- It is a starting point — Templates are provided as examples, for learning and as a base to build on. We do not guarantee that a template works, is secure, or suits any purpose without changes.
- The copy is yours to run — Once you use a template, you are responsible for your app's security, compliance, data, and operation, as with any app you build on the Service.
- Demo data is fictional — Sample content in a template is made up. Replace it before you publish, and do not rely on it.
- Templates change — We may update or withdraw templates at any time. A workspace you already created from one keeps its own copy.
2.3 Security of Your Apps
Security is shared between us and you:
- What we secure — The platform your apps run on: our infrastructure, the isolation between accounts, the build and hosting environment, and the starting code the AI Workspace uses for new apps.
- What you secure — Your apps: their code (including code the AI Workspace writes for you), their dependencies and configuration, the secrets and environment variables you set, and the data they store. Review what you publish, keep it up to date, and fix security issues in it, with the AI Workspace or your own tools.
- Measures we may take — To protect an app, its visitors, or the Service, we may, but are not obliged to, update an app's dependencies when building it, rebuild it, block requests to it, or pause it. We will tell you when we do, where we reasonably can. We may also let you know about a known security issue in your app. None of this makes us responsible for your app's security, and not hearing from us does not mean your app is free of issues.
- Reporting an issue — If you find a security issue in the Service, email [email protected].
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Mine cryptocurrency or perform computationally abusive workloads unrelated to serving web traffic
- Host, distribute, or facilitate malware, phishing, or spam
- Store or transmit illegal content under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia or your jurisdiction
- Attempt to circumvent resource limits, billing, or security measures
- Perform denial-of-service attacks or interfere with the Service or other users
- Host content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
- Run applications that violate applicable export control or sanctions regulations
- Use API keys, OAuth apps, or MCP-compatible integrations to access data or perform actions without proper authorization
- Submit secrets, personal data, or third-party data that you do not have the right to process
3.1 AI Generation Restrictions
Additionally, when using AI features, you agree not to:
- Generate content intended for fraud, illegal activity, impersonation, or deception
- Generate content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Use the feature for high-volume automated generation to circumvent quotas, rate limits, or billing
- Generate or deploy malware, credential-harvesting flows, spam infrastructure, or other abusive software
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
To report a site or app on GetLaunch that breaks these rules, see Report Abuse.
4. Billing and Payments
4.1 Subscription Plans
The Service offers a subscription plan and prepaid AI credits. All prices are denominated in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Your subscription is a fixed price for each billing cycle and includes the resource allowances and AI credits described on our Pricing page.
4.2 Allowances and Limits
We do not charge for requests, data transfer, or storage beyond your allowances. Instead:
- Traffic — Your static sites and storage share one allowance of requests and data transfer, renewed each calendar month on a free account and each billing cycle on a plan. When it is used up, they show a paused page until it renews. No files are deleted.
- Storage — Uploads that would take you past your storage quota are refused.
- More traffic — Upgrading to a plan raises your allowance. On a plan, contact [email protected]; we may, at our discretion, give you a fresh allowance for the rest of the billing cycle.
- Container projects — Where we have enabled container projects for your account, compute time beyond your plan's included hours is billed at the end of the billing cycle, at the rate we tell you when we enable them.
4.3 Payment Processing
Payments are processed through our third-party payment provider. You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize recurring charges for your subscription and, where they apply, compute charges for container projects.
4.4 Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access until the end of your current billing cycle. Compute charges for usage already consumed are non-refundable.
4.5 AI Credits
AI credits are prepaid usage credits for AI features and for hosting web apps. A web app's usage (compute time, requests, and outbound data) is deducted from your balance as it runs, at the rates shown on our Web apps page; when your balance runs out, your web apps may be paused until you add credits. Each paid billing cycle of a plan adds the AI credits the plan includes, and those expire at the end of that cycle. Unless stated otherwise at checkout or required by law, AI credit purchases are non-refundable, are not cash equivalents, cannot be transferred, and may expire after the validity period shown in the Service.
4.6 Free Tier
Free accounts have limited capabilities and allowances as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time.
5. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee any specific uptime percentage. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled or emergency maintenance
- Infrastructure provider outages
- Force majeure events
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance in advance. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to the code, applications, and content you deploy through the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
6.2 License to Us
By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to access, process, build, preview, host, and deploy your code, prompts, generated outputs, files, environment configuration, and content solely for the purpose of providing, securing, supporting, and improving the Service.
6.3 Our Property
The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
7. Account Termination
7.1 By You
You may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service at any time. Upon cancellation, your deployments will be stopped and your project data will be deleted after a reasonable retention period.
You are responsible for exporting or backing up any code, content, logs, data, or configuration you want to keep before deleting projects or accounts.
7.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
- Fail to pay outstanding charges
- Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
In the event of termination for cause, we may delete your account data without prior notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
- Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your content or applications deployed through the Service
- Your violation of any third-party rights
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the email associated with your account or through a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Indonesia.
